Lemons are one of the most alkalizing foods for the body! While they are acidic by themselves, the acids contained in lemons are weak and therefore easily metabolized. Hi Arly! Glad you enjoyed the read...we definitely have some ideas on energizing foods and will post a related blog in the near future! But for now, try a couple of things - swap your energy drink for green tea. If you have more than one a day, start by swapping one:) Also, to decrease energy swings and cravings during the day, eat foods that stabilize blood sugar - beans, greens, lean proteins, healthy fats (olive oil, avocado, nuts, seeds) in each meal. More tips on this topic to come in the future...
